Tasked with rethinking a 680 square foot apartment on New York's Upper West Side, the team at Workstead transformed the space into a model of style and efficiency. Read on for a tour of the finished product.

A desk was cleverly fitted into a 20-foot cabinet wall.

The living room doubles as a dining space.

Touches of green come through in every room.

Mother of Pearl quartzite counters and backsplash compliment the custom oak cabinetry in the kitchen.

The counter is detailed with an old-fashioned drainboard.

The cabinets are oak with a Danish oil finish.

In profile, the integrated pulls--and workmanship--are fully visible.

The oak millwork carries over to the 12-by-13-foot bedroom.

The window wall is fitted with a combination vanity and desk.

The compact bathroom contains a glass-walled shower--and more custom millwork.
