Grid Expectations: The String System Starter Storage Piece

We’ve long admired the timeless look of the iconic String System shelving and its smart yet simple, lightweight yet sturdy modular storage designs. So we were surprised when we came across an offering from the classic Swedish brand that we didn’t know existed: the String + Wall Grid. Introduced just last year, the wall grid is part of the String + line of accessories, which includes bins, hooks, rods, and a magazine holder that can attach to the grid.

We have Jennifer Hagler, of AMM blog, to thank for the discovery. She recently wrote about using the grid in her kids’ bathroom to organize essentials such as hairbrushes, washcloths, and bath oils. Here’s how it looks in the space.
