Object of Desire: Borosilicate Glass Bathroom Hardware

Jochen Holz Borosilicate Glass Towel Rail at The New Craftsmen

East London–based artist Jochen Holz trained as a technical glass blower in Germany before moving to the UK, where he earned degrees at Edinburgh College of Art and the Royal College of Art. We’ve admired his tabletop pieces before (see Trend Alert: 8 Two-Tone Glassware); more recently we’ve become obsessed with his sculptural, intentionally imperfect borosilicate bath accessories, made for a collection inspired by bathing shown at the Decorex International 2016 show in London and now available at The New Craftsmen.
