New & Noteworthy: A Modern Bentwood Coat Stand from Skagerak’s Turn Collection

I don’t mind hanging my raincoat and down jacket from the hooks of a coat stand, but I always cringe a little when I have to do the same with my wool coat. I just feel like heavier or more formal outerwear needs the structure provided by hangers. And if I were to consider my winter coat’s feelings, as Marie Kondo would have me do, I would say it looked unhappy and uncomfortable sagging on the coat stand. Danish design company Skagerak has solved this problem with its latest additions to the Turn collection: a new coat stand with coordinating hooks and hangers. Introduced at the Stockholm Furniture Fair earlier this month, the new products are joining a trio of pieces already in the line: a stool, a bench, and a mirror.
