Spotted recently: A studio apartment designed by Home Design in Odessa, Ukraine, that has its priorities straight. The one-room space has all the necessities—a kitchen, a curtained-off bed, and a petite bathroom—but the closet is what stopped us in our tracks. Most studio apartments make do with minimal storage space; this one prioritizes a large walk-in closet with a variety of streamlined storage solutions. Here’s a closer look.

Above: On the other side of the louvered doors is the spacious closet, which features a distressed-wood palette that echoes the rest of the apartment. The floor-to-ceiling mirror on the left side shows a glimpse of the opposite wall.

Above: A wall is outfitted with floating drawers, shelves, and wall dots for a variety of storage. The dot hooks offer a place to hang and display the next day’s outfit to expedite the morning get-ready routine.

Above: At first glance, the rear wall looks like it has a standard closet system with a rod and shelves, but it’s actually a freestanding clothing rack, which can be moved if necessary.
