The Oak Men are not characters from a German children’s story but rather two Danish cabinetmakers, Anders Buchtrup Jensen and Peter Heinsberg, with an enthusiasm for oak (solid oak, smoked oak, black oiled oak). In their workshop in Brabrand, Denmark—a town close to Arhaus—Anders and Peter design only furniture and goods that they themselves would buy and use.
