Identical, these three shelves are not. But they are uncannily alike and certainly share similar traits—namely light wood legs and white metal planks. We don’t blame designers for being enamored with this pairing: The distinctly Scandi look feels both modern and classic. Here are the three shelves, priced from high to low. High

Above: The Sko Shoe Rack has an ash frame and perforated powder-coated steel shelves. It’s smaller than Cane-Line’s version, making it a good option for shoe storage; $265 at Design Within Reach.
Low
Above: You can count on Ikea to come up with a version that looks high-end but costs hundreds less. Its PS Shelf Unit features birch legs and powder-coated steel shelves; $99.
